A day with Sunbend
Six phases. Set once.
Choose a city and your usual bedtime. Sunbend finds sunrise and sunset and moves your screen through the day, with separate weekday and weekend times.
Profiles
Comfort, or Strict.
Both follow the same day. Strict starts filtering before the sun goes down and goes further at night.
Comfort
Normal colors all day. Warm after sunset, warm and dim at bedtime.
Strict
A light filter all day, then warmer and dimmer than Comfort from sunset on.
Warmer isn’t automatically better. Pick the profile you’ll keep on every evening; a gentle one you live with does more than a strong one you switch off. Separate warmth, dimming and strength controls are there when you want them.
Restore
Normal colors in one click.
From the menu bar, or with one shortcut. Pause for 15 minutes, an hour or until the next phase, and Sunbend tells you when it will resume. Photo and design apps can pause it automatically.
⌃⌥⌘R
The shortcut works here too.
Privacy
Nothing to sign up for.

Location stays on your Mac
Choose a city, or let your Mac find it. It isn’t sent anywhere.
No usage analytics
Diagnostics go out only if you send them, and never with your location or the apps you’ve picked.
On this website, preview preferences stay in your browser. We don’t use analytics or collect sign-ups. The page and fonts load from Cloudflare and Google Fonts, which receive the connection information needed to deliver them.
Pricing
Monthly,
or lifetime.
The Mac version is coming soon. A seven-day trial, monthly plan and one-time lifetime purchase are planned. Prices and downloads will be announced here at launch.

Can I move a lifetime license to another computer?
Yes. A lifetime license is planned for one active computer at a time, with transfers to a new computer. It will periodically connect to the license service to verify activation.
Windows and Linux?
After the Mac version. The core is shared, so they follow the same day plan.
Does it change my display’s brightness?
Only in software. Your brightness keys and the display’s own setting stay as they are.
Can I keep Night Shift on?
Better not; the two would stack. Sunbend covers the same ground with a schedule you control.
What about more than one display?
Displays are linked by default. Adjust or exclude one where macOS allows it.
I need true colors for a while.
Pause for 15 minutes, an hour or until the next phase, or add an app that pauses Sunbend whenever it’s in front.
